Saturday is a special day...

Yesterday kind Russ was off helping people move, and I have been CRAVING lawn mowing lately- really bad, I really really miss grass- (our front & back yard is rocks, I'm not really down with arizona landscape but hey- so we went over to my parents and asked if we could mow their lawn, and they kindly obliged.  

My boys have been missing Aunty Heather ever since she got a full time summer job, we never see her, so they got a treat too and got to play with her- she helped them work on their volleyball skills too

Cannon loves outdoor chores, like his mama:).  

Jack has been very interested in space, planets, comets, and meteors lately, so the other night Russ got out his good old telescope.  

The boys had such a great time setting it up with their daddy- we are patiently awating a night to use it now- we have entered into monsoon season, so we get rain every evening!
