SPENCER IS HoME!

Thursday October 29th FINALLY came! Jackson and Cannon ran into our room and pounced on our bed at 5 am cheering that "today is the day Uncle Spencer comes home!"
We patiently waited ALL day long (his plane didn't come in until 9:30 pm) and were so excited when the time finally came to hit the road to the airport.
My mom borrowed her friends 15 passenger van so we could all ride together... that in itself was a party, and I told Russ I can now see why his dream car was a Dodge Sprinter- think of the parties that could be had... all on the road:)
Heather, Jackson and Cannon blew up balloons on the drive- so the van was definitely a party on wheels!
Mom was so excited... she could hardly contain herself- as were the rest of us!!!
loaded up and ready to go! We brought "brother Ethan" too... (he is part of the fam, after all)
...waiting for the flight to come in...
while we were waiting at the escalators with our giant banner and balloons waiting and waiting, Elder Packer came up from behind us and surprised us:) !!!
My sister Lizzy lives in Boston, and was able to get her connecting flight from New York on the same plane as Spencer... infact, she booked her and her boys seats RIGHT NEXT TO SPENCERS... so she got to give the ultimate surprise and they got to fly into Tucson together!
here's my hunky little brother and me:)
and my cute little sister Lizzy, and her moch of a son, Andy!
Here's our family, minus Andrew (who is in his first year of law school & couldn't leave, we missed you SOOO much)
Jackson was so EXCITED to see his Uncle Spencer again! Uncle Spencer would always tell Jackson about the kids in the West Indies, and how much they enjoyed playing cricket... and Jack couldn't wait to have Spencer teach him how to play!
au reviour balloons!
We got our fun uncle and brother home safely who we adore!

Cannon's joy school halloween party

I am doing Joy School with Cannon this year and we are having a great time! We have a great group of friends with us!
Thursday they did a little Halloween program, which was so super cute!
They sang songs, had a halloween parade, and ended with cookies and punch
such cute kids!

Kerr's Halloween Party

The week before Halloween was so much fun! We had a party each evening, Thursday Spencer came home, and Saturday was the holiday!
We made caramel apples...
Jackson was a ninja this year
and Cannon was a pirate
we limbo'd
bob'd for apples,
and had a great time!
Thanks friends!!

BOO!

The other day, two of my girly friends made these cute cake pops they found off bakerella's blog, and I wasn't able to go... so they, being the wonderful girls did it again today so I could join them!
5 moms and 13 kids later and we made some super rad Halloween cake pops- and they were pretty easy... once we figured it out!
the kids had fun getting messy and enjoying a LOOOONNNGGG sugar high- but I always do too!
I forgot to bring my camera to Jessi's- so these are just the ones we brought home
lots and lots of good, delicious fun!
and... a few plopers... a few that didn't work before we figured a few things out, and a few that melted off their sticks on the way home.
Can't wait to make more!!!

Hurry Lizzy- we'll make more when you come:)

I'm not sure how this is possible... but, our baby is sure growing up fast!
