a couple weeks worth of fun...

The past week has been CRAZY!  Trying to get ready to move is so fun... huh?:)  Thank you so much Brittany for inviting Jackson over to play every day.  We started off the week getting organized and fixing things around the house, meeting with the realtor to get the house on the market, and trying to pair down all our stuff.  Yesterday... NUTS!!  We live in the foot hills of Northern Colorado and had tornadoes!  So freaky!  I was running around in the morning doing errands, and one stop was Wal Mart.  For a few minutes it started hailing and it was so loud I could only hear the pounding of hail.  I looked up at the ceiling and thought, I wonder if this is what it is like when Wal Mart roofs cave in on the shoppers...  when I got home, Carolina called and asked me if I heard there were tornado warnings... I hadn't and turned on the news right away and saw that a major tornado - a mile and a half wide had ripped thru Windsor and was headed for Ft. Collins... the sky was the freakiest thing-  at noon it was so so so dark and I had never seen the clouds moving that fast in the sky- so bizarre.  This morning I found out that someone in our ward completely lost their home, and someone in our neighborhood had their bbq thrown into their sliding glass back door!  So weird!! And so so sad for these people who have lost so much!
Well on to today...
I have wanted a DSLR camera for a couple months now, and it always excites Russ, because he loves photography.  Anyway... my sweetheart totally surprised me tonight with a big Nikon DSLR camera!  I'm so excited, so I went on our old camera to take off the pictures so I could move onto bigger and better;)  Woo-hoo- here comes prof. laurel... ha ha!
Cannon LOVES to color- on everything!  He is such a little artist, I have been repainting this week... to cover up lots of beautiful artwork:)
We got to babysit beautiful Janie!  It was the funnest hour:)  She is only 6 weeks old, and my boys LOVE her!  Jackson wants a baby sister so much, he always prays that a baby will be in my tummy soon, he's so sweet!!
CUTE BOY!  This was at Jackson's last soccer game, when we were playing one of our favorite games... he runs on the field and I chase him away from the goal...
We went out for gillato with the Widdison's and to play in the water fountains... super fun!
Daddy, his boys, and ice cream... yum!

Hooray for new cameras! That is awesome about yours. I still can't decide if I am going to keep my new one or not. I really like having a camera that fits in my purse so I can ALWAYS have it with me. Have fun learning how to use it and playing with it. I can't wait to see all the great new pictures with it.
